Hello and welcome to my blog, this is my first ever entry and I'm quite daunted by it, by excited at the same time.  I hope you enjoy reading the posts, please share the blog with your friends and family.

Its the end of November and I'm overwhelmed with Christmas orders, everything from rings to cuff links and heart pendants. I love jewellery making!
The Christmas exhibition is well under way in the gallery. There is striking acrylic jewellery from Tara McInerney, its not December yet, but we have already sold many of her pieces.
Other jewellery is also presenting well; the beautifully precise aluminium work by Sophie Honeybelle and the fine intricate jewellery by Suzanne Claire Williams are different but compliment each other perfectly.
Another maker in the exhibition, Jessica Flynn, has been nominated for a British Jewellers Association award and looking at her work you can see why.
Last week I had stopped taking Christmas orders, but how could i refuse a gentleman who got down on his knees this morning in front of the counter and begged me to make his wife a ring for Christmas?
